An exciting race that challenges your limits while immersing you in the majesty of the Andes. Starting from the picturesque town of Chinchero , this tour will take you through ancient paths that have witnessed Inca history.

As you reach the beautiful Laguna Piuray , feel the revitalizing energy of the water reflecting the mountain peaks. Continuing on to Humasbamba , each step will connect you with the rich culture and tradition of these sacred lands. Finally, as you cross the finish line in Cusco , you will experience not only the satisfaction of having completed the journey, but also the deep sense of belonging to this magical place.

Race Logistics & Schedule

• Start Line: Puka Pukara-Cusco
• Kit Pickup + Mandatory Gear Check: Friday, June 26, 2026 — 10:00–21:00 hrs (Cusco)
• Race Start (Gun Start): Sunday, June 28, 2026 — 07:30 hrs
• Max Time: 07:00 hours (finish line closes Sunday at 14:30 hrs)
• Aid Stations (CPs): 3 stations with hydration, fruits.

Required Documentation

To collect your race kit and start the Ultra Machu Picchu 100K, every runner must present:

• Original ID or Passport + 1 physical photocopy
Medical Certificate
• Signed and stamped by a licensed physician
• Valid within 6 months of race day
Declaration of Honor / Waiver
• Signed document accepting race terms and personal responsibility

• Proof of payment and registration

Age Group Categories: Recognition for age brackets will be opened only for categories with more than 10 registered runners.
Finisher Medal: All runners who complete the 25K course within the 7-hour time limit will receive an exclusive Ultra Machu Picchu 2026 Finisher Medal.

Pro-Tips for the “25k”

Strategic Acclimatization: The race takes place at extreme altitudes. Arrive in Cusco at least 3 to 4 days before the start.
Logistics & Support: Don’t stress about the details. Our official logistics partner, Tupac Adventures, offers specialized packages for runners, including airport transfers, acclimatization tours, and race-day transport.
Weather Mastery: Be prepared for sudden changes. Temperatures can drop significantly at night; always keep your waterproof and thermal layers accessible.
